AEC Public Perception

How is the AEC community perceived by the public knowledgebase? Which type of projects generate the most news? Where are buildings the largest part of culture? Which cultures cherish their historical buildings, and which focus on new growth? This challenge would involve web scraping to identify and analyze which structures generate the most news. What are the big successes and failures according to public opinion? The context of articles would be classified using natural language processing. A database of structure metadata would need to be obtained for the backend.

    I would love to work on this question! It's about time that architects tried to bridge the gap between our insular culture and what the public sees/experiences.
